99 Cent Sale Over at Amazon!

Run For Your Life will be on sale this weekend for 99 cents. I was originally going to do a Countdown Deal, but there was some confusion on my part about price changes, so I’m simply dropping the price for both Saturday and Sunday. As a new, independent author you’re always learning new things about how to publish and market your book. ‘Live and Learn’ is definitely a phrase I’m close to now. Needless to say, if you haven’t yet had a chance to pick up a copy of my book, give it a shot while it’s on sale! The direct link can be found at the top of this page, or simply click on my book cover below.

Happy Reading!

I just finished Run For Your Life, and I must say that Ms. Laughlin has given readers a wild ride on a runaway train! True to her promise on the bookcover, she spins her plot from the premise that 21st century technology makes it very difficult to disappear. However the fiesty heroine of the story, Carrie, manages to do just that.
She flies under the radar as she reinvents herself to fit into the lives of the archetypal characters she meets as she runs from some decidedly evil people. Numerous complications and plot twists propel the reader through Carrie’s adventures at a break-neck speed. At the same time, wordsmith Linda Laughlin has blended in local color and charming description of several different areas of the country. she gives readers some genuine flavors of the American way of life.
This story is a page turner and a time burner; once you hit the road with Carrie, you can’t stop running until you know if she is safe– and loved. The skill with which this tale is told belies the fact this is the writer’s first novel, and I highly anticipate her next novel. You can run for your life, but don’t run from this book.
All you have to do is watch the news to know one bullet can put anyone one, even you, on the run in this day and age. That’s the magic that keeps you engaged in this book; a nagging whisper that these things could happen to any one. Run For Your Life is fiction, but it could also be construed as a handbook for survivors.
