I started a biweekly column for the Times Record Newspaper in Fort Smith, Arkansas on July 18th. It features area authors and I am having a fun time getting acquainted with other writers in our little part of the country. For someone who likes to read as much as I do, this is a labor of love. I cannot imagine a world without books and even though we have our electronic versions I don’t believe I will have to give up my hard copy books, at least in near future. While I hope that the next book you add to your collection will be one of mine, I can honestly say there are some talented area authors.
Just as all people are not the same, neither are all authors the same. My column entitled “Book Nook” appears every other Tuesday and even in the short time span it has existed, I have covered several genres including religion and young adult.
